as someone specializing in typography, book design has become my own form of meditation. i don't think anything reflects me better as a typography enthusiast than the long‑term projects below
despite my obvious fondness for monochrome, I know exactly how to work with colour. my book about dialogues in plays is based on itten's colour wheel, where strongly contrasting colours represent confrontation between characters
bold, but in a good way, i usually say
The calendar is built around a universal base structure onto which translucent coloured sheets are layered, highlighting information about a specific region and/or time zone
The artist’s work is based on a 1:7 scale, which she uses to create miniature Japanese-style rooms. This principle becomes the foundation of the composition: each catalogue page and the images within it are structured according to the same 1:7 ratio
